Yea! We have grass!

 Cupcake break
Last weekend Dad and Trey installed the bulk of our yard.  The grass arrived on Thursday and the two of them worked all day Friday.  We had help lined up from some college students on Saturday, and we ended up not needing them.  They are the two hardest working/ people I know. They just wouldn't stop until the last piece was laid.

More mud...

What goes up must come down......

Who needs toys?

Westin 18 Months

Where has the time gone?  Westin has already turned into a little boy.  I am so thankful that he has remained a little cuddler.  He loves to be held, hugged and kissed.  He has also figured out how to hold his own with his older brother.  William knows that Westin won't sit back and let him take toys from him anymore.  They have started to be able to play together for longer periods of time lately.  He is also good at playing on our emotions.  When he gets in trouble he bats his eyes, and comes to give us a hug.  I am not sure if this is good or bad...just really cute.
I told Westin to smile for the picture and he said, "catch" and threw the ball to me.  He is quite the talker.  Every day he is learning more and more words.  Favorite Words -  outside, eat, blankie, lovie, apple, bye-bye, Rosie (neighbors dog), cracker and dirty.  At his last check-up he weighed 25.6 pounds and everything was looking good.
Westin has continued to be very easygoing.  He tells us when he's ready to go, "night, night".  He loves to play outside in the sand or the dirt.  He brings so much joy to our lives.

Spring Break 2012

After several days of rain it was nice to get outside and let the boys play.

They washed all of their vehicles with their pressure washer.
Yes, I am still one!

Trey got his garage shelving up and organized while the boys played in the dirt.
We added some new plants to the front porch.

Gram and Ronan Visit

This past weekend Gram and Ronan came to visit.  We had such a great time watching the boys play together.

Trey helped the boys create the blue structure behind them.
Westin is trying to pet the longhorn.
William is such a good brother.  He is always looking out for Westin.  A little girl tried to take a toy from him and William was there to jump to the rescue.
Saturday evening we invited Walker and Clark over to make it a night with 5 boys.  They all played well together.  William especially likes to take care of Clark.

Balancing Act

I always worried about how I would be able to make time to play with two boys instead of just one...I think I finally have it figured out.

Dirt, dirt and more dirt!

We have been working hard to get our yard ready for the sprinkler system and the landscaping.  My dad, Bart, Trey and I worked to get the dirt loaded, dumped and spread.
One trailer load at a time....
My dad spread the dirt with the Bobcat while Bart and I used rakes to level it out.
 One shovel at a time....
My mom helped watch the 3 Amigos!  I am not sure who had the most exciting job?!
