Thank You - MiMi!

My Mom watched William this weekend and when we got home from our evening out this is what was found in the playroom. A happy little boy with a tent and a lantern.
Last night I told William it was time for bed and he ran in the tent and said, "night, night Mommy".
It was nice for Trey and I to go out for a real "grown-up" evening . We went to a beautiful wedding in San Antonio and had a great time. Thanks, Mom.

Trip to Children's Museum

Mimi is helping William saddle-up for some fun at the Children's Museum.

MiMi, William, Sydney and I went to the Children's Museum in NB this last weekend. William enjoyed all of the activities. I would have to say that he could have played in the water area all day if we would have let him.

In this picture William is giving me all the money in the bank. In the years to come we will definitely have to work on better money management.

Trip To Indoor Park

William played on this large, wooden truck most of trip to this park. It sure is a great idea to have an indoor park in a town that is averaging temperatures in the 100's.
Up, down, up down...I had a pretty good workout just following him from playscape to playscape.

William and his friend Mattie deciding who can drive the fastest. In 14 years we are hopeful that neither of them are reaching these excessive speeds.

Trip to Beach

William digging in Daddy's ice chest.

Mommy, William and "The Hawk"

William wasn't too sure about touching the hermit crab in Daddy's hand. He did warm-up to the creature in the end.

We had a great time at the Aquarium. We were quite thankful for the breeze - it was VERY hot this day. We will come back to visit when William is a little older and Mommy can "teach" William about the animals. By the end of the visit he did learn the words shark, dolphin and seagull.

Playdate with Mattie

William had such a great time with his friend Mattie yesterday. These two can definitely keep themselves entertained. Thanks for the popsicles Meredith- sorry William dropped his on your clean tile!
I just loved to hear these two laugh while they were playing peek-a-boo. :)

Party for the Powells

William and his cousins: Madison, Ronan, Sydney, Julia, Wyatt and Victoria.
This past weekend Trey, William and I went to George West to see Trey's sister Michelle and our nieces that were in town from Virginia. In this picture William is playing with his cousin Ronan (sorry my camera is so blurry).

Schlitterbahn with Cousins

I love this picture of Kate. It brings back my youth - this is exactly what I would have been doing when I was her age.
While Shay, Lindsy and the girls went to ride the bigger rides- William and I hung out at one of the kiddie pools.

William had a great time playing with his older cousins.

Misc. Pics

William has more fun playing inside his toy tub than actually playing with his toys in the tub.
This might look concerning, but it really isn't. He has gotten pretty good at jumping over the side of the tub landing in a handstand position. The last picture is proof that he pops-up with a smile every time!

Trip to Schlitterbahn

William and I spent the afternoon at Schlitterbahn today. We had a wonderful time! As you can see in this picture, William isn't too sure about this puppy dog.

When we first got to the park he was a little apprehensive about the slides. Once he got used to them he tried them all and really enjoyed them.

Mom has lost her mind?

William was quite surprised and happy to have his bathtub crayons. At first he was hesitant and then, as you can see, he really loved it.
Look at my masterpiece!

19 Months

In this picture William is 19 months old. He is getting in 4 new teeth and seems to be learning new words each day. He can easily communicate his needs to us now and this is very nice.
Such a big boy!
