Live Oak County Fair

Papa Tom took William to see all the animals. This lamb was just the right size for William.
Aunt Shay treated William and Kate to a pony ride. Doesn't he look like a natural?

Kate is showing William her beautiful bunnies that we got to watch her show. We were so proud of the work that both Caroline and Kate did with their animals.
Aunt Shay and William are checking out Caroline's goat before she went in to the show.
First bite of funnel cake with MiMi! He actually only took one bite and didn't really care for it. That was probably because he wasn't feeling well. When William and I got back to New Braunfels that evening he had 104 degree temperature. Turns out he has strep and a small ear infection. With some antibiotics he is on his way to recovery.

Feeding the Ducks

William had a great time today playing with his friend Landon at the park. Everything was going well until William fell on the stone stairs and got a very bad bruise between his eyes. These toddler years sure are tough.

Reid Powell's B-day Party

William and I went to our friend Reid's 1st b-day party. When we first got there William stayed right by me and then he took-off as he became interested in all of the wonderful toys. (Pictured: William, Reid, Gena Powell)
William is carrying on a very serious conversation during his lunch date with his new friend. He insisted that he use the utensils.

William had a great time celebrating Reid's b-day. Thanks for having us Gena and Jay!

Thank You, Aunt Kitley

William is admiring the beautiful blanket that his Aunt Kitley made for him. How did she know that blue was his favorite color?
William loves to cuddle with soft things and he immediately enjoyed the blanket.

First Hair Cut

William started off with a small look of doubt.
The eyes say it all. William was less than happy with his first hair cut.
I didn't anticipate the tears and sadness that were to come with the first hair cut. He cried the second she sprayed the water on his hair. Maybe next time it will go better.
