Christmas 2009

Daddy and Papa got the jeep all fixed up for William.  Once he figured out how to get it to go he was off! We had to charge the battery when we got home.

Thank you SANTA!  Cars, cars and more cars....just what William wanted.

William had such a great time playing with his cousin Ronan.  They were working together on this present.

Kate and William on our way home after multiple Chirstmas stops.  We all had such a great Christmas.  Thank you to all of our family for making this Christmas so thoughtful.  We had such a great time with all the Moffatts, Wojtasczyks, Davises, Wasiceks and Stewarts.  We truly appreciate all the wonderful gifts that you all gave William.  William knows how much he is loved!

Hill Country Christmas at Schlitterbahn

We met the DeWitts at Schlitterbahn this evening and we all had a great time.  We even got a little snow/bubbles.

William loved the carousel and wanted to ride it over and over.

 Fun in the maze

William gave the puppy many hugs throughout our visit.

Santa's Ranch

Trey and I took William through Santa's Ranch last night.  He really enjoyed looking at all the lights this year.

William with Santa

I took William to see Santa Clause in Gruene today.  The look on his face says it all.  He was tolerant, but less than excited.  After we left he told me he wanted to ask Santa for a tractor.  I thought we were over tractors.......

Sesame Street Live

We took William to see Sesame Street Live in San Antonio on the day after Thanksgiving.  The show was exciting, but William was exhausted from all the Thanksgiving fun we had had over the last few days.  He started to fall asleep at the end of the show.

Thanksgiving 2009

William and Trey at the George West football playoff game.  William sat fairly still the first half but wore Mom out the second half.

William and I went "hunting" for the first time together in a deer blind on Thanksgiving Day.  I still laugh thinking about the amount of noise he made.  The crazy thing is that some deer still came out.

William spun the chair over and over......

Storyfest in George West

This past weekend we went to GW to enjoy a wonderful GW vs Three Rivers game(42-0), Storyfest, and opening weekend of deer season. I think William may be a cowboy at heart. He has become a regular at the pony rides.
William's other love would be shiny cars and much to our surprise there were many "fancy cars"(that is what William calls them) for him to view at Storyfest.
I have to thank Kate for being willing to ride this train with him over and over. I am pretty sure that William wasn't scared to ride because Kate was there to help him.

First Sip of Hot Chocolate

First taste of hot chocolate with real whipped cream. It came of no surprise that he drank half my cup.

Halloween '09

William had a great time trick or treating in New Braunfels and then going to hang-out with his friend Walker in San Marcos. This picture was taken on our way home after the fun day.

William and Daddy on a mission for some candy. Funny thing - William only ate one piece and he didn't even ask for it the day after Halloween. I guess that means Trey and I will have to finish it off :)

Pumpkin Carving

Sydney, William and I carved our pumpkin this evening. William didn't really like the slimy insides.

After I carved it I tried to pull the mouth out and we lost a few teeth :)

Playdate with Mattie

Saturday morning William had a great time hanging out with his friend Mattie. These two are full or energy and don't need much help keeping themselves busy.
The music was playing and these two were dancing like no one was watching!

Pumpkin Night at HLES

We had Pumpkin Night this evening at my school and William enjoyed creating his very own pumpkin design. The paint ended up on his ear, jeans and even a little on the pumpkin.

Beautiful Weekend

Today Trey, William and I went driving down River Rd. in New Braunfels to enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather.
Trey and William walking down the steep hill to check out the water.

Last night Trey was in our friend Gabriel's wedding in San Antonio. We had a great time visiting with friend from high school. William also got to see his cousin Victoria (I think he liked her even more when she gave him some cake).

Pumpkin Patch '09

Trey and I took William to find a few pumpkins today in Bracken. We were fortunate to have temps in the 50's today while we were out on our adventure.
William found a pumpkin that was just the right size.
William could tell that Daddy needed a little help with this heavy pumpkin!

It's In His Blood

William got some new hunting gear and his first gun from Papa Tom and Mimi for his birthday. It didn't take him long to start enjoying the concept of hunting. He is all ready for his dad to take him to George West.
Papa Tom explaining the basics of a gun.

Here birdie, birdie.
This gun sure makes a fun sound when I push this button.

William's 2nd B-day Party

We had William's 2nd Birthday Party at J&R Gym. He had such a great time with all of his friends. We thank each of you for coming and sharing this big day with us! William received many thoughtful presents and has already started playing with them all.

Day at the Comal Fair

William and I met our friends Leann and Landon at the Comal Country Fair on Friday. The weather was perfect and we had a great time enjoying the animals and riding this fun tractor.
William loved riding the pony. This is the one thing that he keeps talking about days after our trip.

This sweet boy came over to William to help prevent any chicks from being strangled. William hasn't quite gotten the concept of being gentle to the tiny animals.
We were able to catch the tractors pulling into the fair after the parade. The boys enjoyed their own private parade of antique tractors - they loved it!
No fear - William walks right up to the llama and pets its nice fluffy fur.
