Westin Turns 3 Months

Westin is now 3 months old and is simply a joy.  He is cooing and smiling more when we talk to him.  He won't go back for a check-up until he is 4 months old, but he sure seems to be outgrowing his clothes quickly.  The last few nights he has been sleeping about 10 hours straight.  We will just have to wait and see if he keeps this up.  H is just growing so quickly...I love the baby stage.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles- Christmas 2010

This is the first time William has actually enjoyed opening presents.  He always likes his presents, he just never liked to open them.

Pillow pets anyone?  William has insisted on sleeping on his since we got it home.
Cookies and OJ for Santa.  William thought he would probably rather have orange juice than milk.
This picture kinda sums up where we are right now in our life.  Westin sleeps, William is acting like a 3 year old, Trey is tired and I just keep smiling.....
Treasures from Santa - before William wakes up.  His train table fit just right inside the tent.
Westin sleeping so cozy on Gram.
Daddy is explaining to William that these toys he got from Santa will be very helpful when we build our house this next year.
William is in love with his new train table.  Great idea Mimi.

Four generations.  My grandmother is going to be turning 90 this year.
                                                               Still playing with the train.

Christmas Festivities

 sneaking a little nibble
Lunch with Papa Tom.  As you can see, William was allowed to get anything he wanted...even his own bag of chips!
More chocolate milk with Daddy at the ranch.
These trees were at my knees when Trey and I started dating almost 17 years ago.  Each year there are a few less.  Only the strong survive :)

Breakfast with Santa

 William decorating the gingerbread man.
William with his little Christmas candy cane mouse.
William mailing the very important letter to Santa.
William and I started the day off with Santa for Breakfast at Landa Park.  We had a great time together this morning and I do believe this will be an event we try to attend each year.
We ended our morning with a nice train ride through the park while William enjoyed his nicely decorated gingerbread man.

Random Shots

There are a few things I have decided about having two kids.  1.  I can't control everything  2. I can clean most stains out of clothes 3. I must cherish every smile - they sure grow-up fast!
When I took this picture it made me realize how much Westin looks like William at this age.  I have started writing on pictures trying to make sure I label the right child.

William+spray foam soap+a few minutes=

Priceless - Needless to say we didn't have anymore spray foam soap left after this incident.

Westin is 2 Months Old

Westin turned two months old today.  He is now smiling when we talk to him, he is also cooing and  is sleeping on average 7 hours in a row at night.  He is such a sweet little boy and I just keep falling more and more in love with him each day.
I was a little slow with the camera.  Here is a small smile and I will work to get a better pic.

Storyfest in George West

We went down to George West for the day last weekend to attend Storyfest.  The weather was absolutely perfect for the annual festival.  For those of you all who do not know, George West is the Storytelling Capitol of  Texas. William enjoyed all of the unique animals in the petting zoo.  He told me he was feeding  "a huge dinosaur" in this picture.
Trey stayed at my parent's house with Westin so that William and I could spend a little one on one time together.

William and Kate on their annual "train" ride.  I don't know what we are going to do when Kate gets to old to ride the rides with William.  Thanks Kate!
I wish you could have heard him laughing while this calf licked his ear.  At one point the animals were all coming after him for the feed in his hand.  I couldn't stop laughing.

Westin's 1st Playdate

My friend Jenny came over last week with her two boys.  As you can see in this picture both big brothers are very proud and helpful!  From left to right we have William, baby Westin, Walker and baby Clark.
William and Walker found ways to keep themselves busy in the playroom while Jenny and I got to visit.  Luckily, no one got hurt.
Westin and Walker were born ten days apart and I look forward to all the fun that all of our boys are going to have in the future.  Wish us luck!

Halloween 2010

                                                    Go Bears!  Halloween 2010
This year we crashed my friend Kristal's street to partake in a little trick-or-treating.  The street had just enough candy and not too many people.  The kids all had a great time.
Reed, William, Jamie and Mattie were being so nice while we tried to take a few pics before we hit the streets.
  Westin's 1st Halloween
Trey and Westin stayed behind with the guys to watch a little football.
   Is it halftime yet?

Trick or Treat
These nice people told us that they will see us next year and William quickly replied that he would be back tomorrow night....
