Fun Friday at Landa

Today we had a great day playing with my friend Jill and her son Carter at the Landa Park pools. William really enjoyed getting to hangout with a big boy like Carter. (Carter and Jill are in the first picture and William is in the second. )

Visit with Baby Kayla

Last weekend Trey, William and I went to meet my cousin's new baby. She is just adorable. It is hard to believe they come this small and she weighed over 8 pounds and was 22in long.
William would not get very close to her. I think he was scared that we might take her home, she was awfully cute. Vanessa seems to be adjusting well to having two little ones. Congrats Vanessa and Todd!

Slow 4th of July

We enjoyed a very slow 4th of July this year. Trey grilled some delicious fish and shrimp and we sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather.

Trip to "Island" in NB

William enjoyed picking the bark off of this beautiful tree. He does this at home with our crepe myrtle tree too.

Janice invited us to come play in the water with her grandkids this last week. The water was a little cooler than William was used to and this picture shows about how deep he got in the water.

My Mom watched William this weekend and when we got home from our evening out this is what was found in the playroom. A happy little boy with a tent and a lantern.

Last night I told William it was time for bed and he ran in the tent and said, "night, night Mommy".

It was nice for Trey and I to go out for a real "grown-up" evening . We went to a beautiful wedding in San Antonio and had a great time. Thanks, Mom.

Trip to Children's Museum

Mimi is helping William saddle-up for some fun at the Children's Museum.

MiMi, William, Sydney and I went to the Children's Museum in NB this last weekend. William enjoyed all of the activities. I would have to say that he could have played in the water area all day if we would have let him.

Trip To Indoor Park

William played on this large, wooden truck most of trip to this park. It sure is a great idea to have an indoor park in a town that is averaging temperatures in the 100's.

Up, down, up down...I had a pretty good workout just following him from playscape to playscape.
