Random Pics- Soccer, Dirt, etc.

Westin and his favorite shirt.  He would literally wear this shirt every day if he could.  I'm not sure why he loves it so much.  He calls it his b ball shirt.
Westin would give all of his other toys away to play in the dirt with his tractors and a shovel.
William is getting better with his bike riding.
 Sweet boys.
William has started his second soccer season.  He's doing well so far.

First Quarter of the Year Review

I got my first love note from William in December.  He went in his room and wrote this note all by himself.  Warms my heart.
New Year's Eve Gathering - Yes, those children do have fire in their hands.
Yes, their moms do have champagne in their hands. We are all in such a fun stage of motherhood.
Trey and I took the boys to the San Antonio Children's Museum in January.  They are still talking about this place.
 Westin the Science Kid
My future construction workers. They had a Bobcat for the boys to ride in with Trey. Westin loves all construction vehicles and loved the ride.
We even sat in a drumming class. There were about 20 kids in the class and they each had their own drum....need I say more.
William loved the ball tubes.  He worked himself to death trying to fill the bucket so it would drop the balls on his head.
Trey giving Westin an engineering lesson.
 The fishing crew.
They all went to a tank in Canyon Lake to catch a lot of catfish.  William is really into catching, not fishing and this was the right place to take him.
Papa Tom fried the fish for dinner and they were very tasty.

Christmas 2012 Part 2

Cookies are baked for Santa...with a few missing!

Mimi and Papa bought both boys new scooters.  William had this type of scooter and rode it until the wheel feel off.  He was thrilled to get a new one with all wheels attached.
Mom and Dad gave in and bought William a Leap Pad.  He was very excited!
 Yea, a Dream Lite!

Westin rolling on his new turtle scooter from the Davis Family
Kate, William, Westin, Caroline and Sydney
My poor baby Westin was sick the whole week.

Santa brought the boys their first set of wheels.  It actually goes pretty fast and Westin is thrilled to be along for the ride.

Christmas 2012

We made a trip to see all the beautiful lights at Santa's Ranch.  Westin was quite a good driver and I don't think he took out too many of the displays.

William had his pre-school program at Gruene Tree.  He was very focused on ringing the bells at just the right moment.  His class performed Away in a Manger.

This year both boys played active roles in the decorating of the gingerbread house and train.  I had to take a few breaths as the pieces of candy kept falling everywhere. :)

Westin was only interested in eating the cookies we made for Santa.  I caught both of them snacking more than decorating.

 I sure want Santa's cookies
William stopping Westin from eating Santa's cookies.  Westin just couldn't understand why he couldn't have one bite.

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas!

I ordered a Christmas Train for the boys this year. They have already gone through one set of batteries.  It's been a great addition!

Thanksgiving 2012

We had a slow, peaceful Thanksgiving at our house this year.  We celebrated Lindsy and Chris' new engagement and the kids had a blast playing together.
 Crazy Cousins
My sisters and I went out for our annual Black Friday shopping event.
Maybe the crazy cousins get it from their crazy Moms? Just a thought. We left my house at 7 pm and I came back at 7 am.  My sisters stayed out until noon!  It was another successful shopping trip.

Bracken Pumpkin Patch 2012

We went to Bracken again this year to collect our pumpkins.  William rode the train and Westin enjoyed pulling the pumpkins in the wagon.
