This year we spent a quiet Easter at home in New Braunfels. William understood the concept of hunting eggs this year. Trey and I prepared a tasty lunch and William topped it all off with this lemon cake.

Cars and Trucks
We have already noticed that William displays some left-brain tendencies. He loves to line up all of his cars and doesn't stop until they are all just right. The other day I looked out in the backyard and he had all of his yard trucks, tractors and wagons lined up across the yard.

Live Oak County Fair
William and I went to the fair in George West this last week and had a great time. We watched my nieces show their goats, road carnival rides, attended the parade and even threw in a pony ride. William would still be on the car carnival ride if I hadn't made him get off. My sister, Lindsy, was willing to go on the rides with William to help avoid any extra sickness on my behalf. Thanks Lindsy!
Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch
My parents came up a couple of weeks ago and we all enjoyed a trip to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. I would recommend the food at their restaurant - it was quite tasty.

Beautiful Spring Day at Landa Park
William attended a great birthday party of his friend Reid on Sunday at Landa Park. The weather couldn't have been any better. William had a great time playing on the playground and he especially liked riding the train through the park. Thanks Powell Family for such a great day!

Blessing Number 2
Trey, William and I are so excited to be preparing for the newest member of our family. Baby #2 is expected to arrive around Oct. 7th and we couldn't be any happier. So far this pregnancy has been quite a bit different from William. Nausea and vomiting have been lurking almost all day everyday and this has been quite difficult. I am optimistic that the sick stage is almost over. Here is the first picture of the baby.
